Give the Gift of Feminist Writing
This holiday season, support independent women writers like me.
Upgrade to paid
When I first started writing online back in 2009, the concept was still relatively new and the (very crappy) attitude was that articles on the Internet were unpaid. I never thought I’d be able to make money writing but then some paid platforms finally came my way, swiftly turning my side-hustle into my main gig.
I left my day job to write and never looked back. “Blogs” and “Bloggers” may have largely disappeared but after years of writing for other platforms, and publishing a book, I feel like returning to my roots with this newsletter.
“Anushay’s Point” is a place I write about what I want and how I want. As a woman of color, this is something we really don’t get to do as often as we like. I’ll be posting at least twice a week, some video, some audio, but definitely a lot of writing about women’s health and rights!
As holiday season gets into full-swing, please consider gifting a subscription of “Anushay’s Point” and/or purchasing a copy of my book, The Pain Gap: How Sexism and Racism in Healthcare Kill Women (2021, Simon and Schuster) for your favorite feminist (s).
My book explores real women's stories of healthcare trauma and medical gaslighting. It is an in-depth examination of the women's health crisis in America and could not be a more timely and relevant gift for anyone who cares about women’s health and rights.
